We continue our section #21, in which we talk about how to develop a new habit in 21 days. This time we suggest giving up coffee for three weeks.

Let’s say right away that in moderate amounts (up to 400 ml of caffeine per day) and at the right time of day, coffee can be useful. The problem is that it is difficult for many to stop at 400 ml.
In the modern rhythm of life, people constantly abuse caffeine. Morning espresso, endless americanos at work, lattes at a coffee shop with friends. Over time, the body becomes less sensitive to caffeine – we want to drink more and more to get at least some effect.

In addition, we will dispel the myth: despite the assurances of marketers, coffee after waking up does not invigorate, but only increases nervousness. The level of cortisol in the morning is so high that the body perceives it rather like light tea.

Refusing to drink coffee for three weeks will allow the adrenal glands (which produce cortisol) to rest, adjust the circadian rhythm and even lose weight. Remember how many sweets you eat with coffee! Alternatives can be green tea, fruits and nuts.

Put + if you are ready to take this austerity. We will prove that life without coffee exists!
