In autumn, the products of Ukrainian cinematography began to appear on the American streaming platform. Currently, 16 films are available for viewing, but the producers are still in negotiations, so the number should increase soon. We’ll tell you which movies you can watch on Netflix right now.

Sniper. The White Raven (2021)
The film is based on the real story of a teacher and eco-settler from Horlivka. The man was a pacifist, but the events of 2014 forced him to change his views and go to the front.

I Work at the Cemetery (2021)
This black comedy is about the working days of the owner of a company that makes gravestones. Each order hides its own story, in which there is a place for sadness, laughter, and irony.

Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom (2013–2014)
The film depicts the events on Independence Square during the Revolution of Dignity — from peaceful rallies to bloody confrontations. The film includes interviews with the protesters.

Servant of the People (2015–2019)
It’s a comedy series about a history teacher who won the presidential election. Vasyl Holoborodko was played by Volodymyr Zelenskyi, who used to be the artistic director of the Kvartal 95 studio and is the current president of Ukraine.

Servant of the People 2 (2016)
In the feature film, the new president tries to lead the country out of the economic crisis. He has to force the Verkhovna Rada, controlled by oligarchs, to sign the anti-corruption law in order to get help from the IMF.

The Wild Fields (2018)
A young man called Herman returns to his hometown in Donbas to protect the family business — an old gas station — from local bandits. The dramatic western is based on the novel Voroshilovgrad by Serhii Zhadan.

Amber Cops (2021)
Maksym, a police officer from Kyiv, finds himself in a village in Zhytomyr Oblast, where a new partner awaits him to fight the ruthless amber mafia.

Classmates (2019)
A musician, an architect and a businessman decide to go to a class reunion 25 years after graduation. However, before the party, unexpected adventures await them. It’s a Ukrainian version of the Danish comedy.
